We love downtown! Here are (what we consider to be) must-do's around Austin 360:

Food:
Jo's on 2nd is always a reliable choice. Great ambiance, friendly service, and tasty breakfasts and lunches. Dogs are welcome on the outside patio.

Drink:
Malaga's tapas and happy hour are hard to beat. http://www.malagatapasbar.com/hh_frame.html

219 West also had a good happy hour, and it lasts until 9pm!

Shopping:
Mercury on 2nd is full of great decor ideas and gifts of all sorts. The prices are a little steep, but it's a fun place to shop.

Royal Blue Grocery is all around a great business. It's ultra convenient with late hours and high quality products. Service is always top-notch. If you get there in the morning, you can find tasty breakfast tacos wrapped to go. Currently, Royal Blue is on 3rd in Amli #1, but there should be one opening in the 360.

Cru, the wine bar on 2nd next to Jo's is fabulous! Their happy hour is from 4 to 6pm on weekdays. They have fun wine flights, and really great appetizers and entrees. During happy hour, a huge bowl of mussels steamed in white wine is only $5.

Among the many delights of the hood is being able to walk to Ruth's Chris for apps and drinks, if not a meal.

They have a special late night happy hour for 360 residents -- show your card -- and their apps are stunning. (Try the seared tuna, carpaccio or the crabtini!) Their wine list rocks, too.

Taste Selected Wines on Caesar Chevaz is one of our favorite spots.
